John 13:34A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. John 13:35By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
As followers of Jesus Christ, we are to love one another. Notice the measure of that love: we are to love as Jesus loves us. That is a high standard indeed. Our love is to be a visible love, so much so that everyone can know we are His disciples, His followers, by the love they can observe. I am afraid that we have much room to grow in obeying this commandment. Judge your attitudes toward your brothers and sisters in the Lord in light of this commandment.
