1Pe 4:10As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1Pe 4:11If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
God has given us spiritual gifts in order that we might carry out His work. We are to minister and work with the gift and ability God has given us. We are not to envy or disparage the gifts of others, but labor faithfully with that which we have been given. We are to use our gift to labor and minister in order that God may be glorified through all that we do. Our goal in working in the kingdom of God should be that God receive praise and honor. Our purpose in exercising our gifts should be that God receive the honor and glory. Let’s work and minister with a single purpose: to glorify our God.
