Psa 9:9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Psa 9:10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
Our God is a refuge, a safe retreat, a place of security and rest. He is a refuge for the oppressed, those who are overburdened, overpowered, beat down, depressed. Those who know Him will put their trust in Him. Those who know the Lord will trust Him because He is faithful; He has never forsaken one of His own. He will never forsake His trusting child. He is our refuge. Run to Him, confide in Him, find peace and rest in His care. He is our hiding place, our refuge, our safe retreat. Trust Him.
