The idea of a real and living Devil has lost favor in the modern church. However, we are warned in God’s word that there exists an evil being who is intent on destroying us. We have one who opposes us and works to see us lost eternally. For this reason we are to be diligent and alert, on guard for his deception and opposition. Live a careful life; be aware that we have a dangerous and powerful enemy who is intent on our destruction.
